I think the correct term for this trick is “one handed Superman seat-grab” but please correct me if I’m wrong. Bummer about the other guys camera, though. 2018 Crankworx Innsbruck Slopestyle event, Nicholi Rogatkin 📷 #project52

At the insistence of my two elder sons (aged 8 and 11), we spent last Saturday at the crankworx Slopestyle event hosted in/near Innsbruck, Austria. It was a total blast, very impressive to watch. And some great photo opportunities. Will be posting some in the near future.
Taken from almost the same spot as 09, this time with a lot of wheat (I think?) in the foreground. #project52 📷

Met this well-camouflaged fist-sized toad while on a hike in the Tyrolean Alps

Ticks are really annoying this year in western Austria. Son number 1 had 13(!) in a single day recently. I mean maybe they find him especially tasty but the other kids were almost equally affected. We’re all vaccinated but that won’t help againsy Lyme Disease, so ..
I think I’ve figured this out. For a certain sub-class of nerd (of which I am not a member), WWDC fulfills roughly the same roll that WGT fulfills for me. Therefore: Have fun, other sub-class of nerd!
looks like I’ll have to go for a swim today after work. Forecast is for basically 10 days of rain (at least) starting tomorrow.
I realize this is going to sound weird to .. well everyone who doesn’t live in the south of Germany or Austria but - May was a really nice month, given that EVERY week in May was a short work-week (either 4 or 3 days). June sucks. In comparison, that is.
childhood memories - I used to play a lot in this creekbed. Whether there is water or not depends on the weather, mostly. If you walk uphill far enough, you will encounter water. #project52 📷

Supergreen!
