$SON1 got his green belt today (some subvariant of Taekwondo) and I am quite a bit more proud than I thought I would be. This dad-thing continues to be surprising, even quite a few years in.

I just programmed something large and industrial by flipping a lot of dip switches. Feeling rather old-school today.

continuing from this entry, I am now actually wearing my old Casio watch on my wrist, after ordering an original wristband and cursing a lot while trying to attach it. This helped a bit (youtube link).
