backpack-hacking: there are a lot of messenger-style backpacks, i.e. roll-top and sturdy waterproof material. A subset of them suffer from not having an external bottle-holder (IMO big disadvantage). I’ve remedied it for mine by buying the Ortlieb Bottle Cage.

Well. The info about the new QWERTY-slider phone is now finally out at https://www.fxtec.com/pro1/. It does look massively sexy and like it would be exactly what I’ve been waiting for since the Motorola Photon Q. Alas, it’s about 300 EUR more than I want to pay for a phone.
