The other night, I actually installed/set up an Android phone via video call. As in called another person in the same room and told them to hold their camera over the phone to be set up and told them (my parents) what to type/touch. A bit arduous but got the job done.
Son 1 has never seen Mad Max (he’s too young) but created this rather perfect Mad Max-vehicle (probably inspired by Lego Movie 2) #project52 📷

nope .. no sudden flash of inspiration during the night that would bring back the forgotten username
two rather vexing things have happened. a) my moms phone has been reset to factory settings without her intending to do that (no idea how); b) while I saved the password for the google account on it to my password safe, I can’t remember the bloody username …
I do have to say, I find the user experience of swapping the MicroSD-card in an Android-phone (say, for a larger one) to be extremely odious. I’ll post more once I have nailed down what exactly is going wrong for me.
after now having used the GPD MicroPC in its original state for 10 days or so: I definitely have to get rid of the Win10 system on there, it’s driving me up the wall at every corner. Otherwise extremely nice hardware! Makes my X220 look gargantuan in comparison.
